What we do

  • • CATT Marion targets cat colonies of 10 or more cats.
  • • We schedule trapping with the caregiver and will focus on trapping all the cats in the colony at one time.
  • • The cats are humanely trapped and housed before surgery
  • • They are brought to the surgery facility, where they will receive their rabies and FVRCP vaccines, flea control, and left ear tip with their spay or neuter.
  • • The cats are then housed for recovery and returned the day after surgery to their colony.
  • All participating clinics and trappers donate their time, supplies and services at no cost to the community caregiver.
However, donations are always welcome and can be donated to any of our participating partners (You can specify to the partner that you would like to donate specifically for CATT Marion efforts)

For those with fewer than 10 cats these are participating rescues and low cost spay-neuter clinics:

  • 1. Marion County Animal services
  • 2. Humane Society of Marion County
  • 3. Sheltering Hands
  • 4. Vocal for pets
  • VetCat
